The Z memory : from backwards to forwards.
The installation transcribes 2 states, if we can say that the change of state is a degradation, here it is a function.
- The reverse: leading from the present to the past memory.
- The reverse: leading from past action to future action.
Beyond these two functions, another essential function gives to this installation the name of '4D film'.
If it is not possible to go back on an alteration of state other than with a new alteration, some technologies allow this to be done virtually.
Regardless of time, the '4D film' is erasable, can be rewritten indefinitely and, depending on the definition of your memories, allows you to reshape them under 3 axes (xyz).
The 'Z memory', is none other than your ability to remember precisely your dreams, in the face of the erosion of time.
The anti-chronological video with audible text expresses the functioning of memory. Anti-chronological events show us that deformed objects return to a state that seems to be original. From a new state to an original state belonging to the past.
The Chronological Video with an inaudible text (with inverted quotation) expresses the construction of memory. Chronological events show us that objects undergo a change of state in time. From present to becoming, from past to present.
